NICKY JAM



Nick Rivera Caminero (Boston, Massachusetts, March 17, 1981), better known as Nicky Jam, is a singer and songwriter reggaeton. From a young age he began rapping and performing a performance at a supermarket, he caught the attention of a lady, who was the wife of an executive director of a record label. He signed a recording contract and eleven, released their debut album. In the mid-1990s he met Daddy Yankee, with whom he formed a duo. They created several musical successes, but in 2004 was dissolved by various personal conflicts. In the late 2000s Jam's music career suffered a decline, so he decided to move to Medellin between 2007 and 2010, in order to launch his career again. Jam in 2014 again began to gain popularity in several Latin American countries with their singles "Mischief" and "I'll drink." In 2015, along with Enrique Iglesias, he launched the theme "Forgiveness," which became a hit in America and in several European countries such as Spain, Germany, France, Portugal and Switzerland, among others. 'Forgiveness' won the award for best urban performance in the Latin Grammy Awards 2015 7 and the Latin American Music Awards awards as single of the year and favorite, respectively collaboration.
